Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of Subnet Calculator. By using the tool you agree to them. They're written to be readable, not to trip you up.

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Subnet Calculator (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
The Service is a free, browser-based utility for calculating IPv4 and IPv6 subnets, splitting networks using VLSM, and summarizing CIDR ranges. All calculations run locally in your browser. It is provided for informational and planning purposes.
3. Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service lawfully. In particular, you agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the integrity or security of the Service;
- misrepresent the Service as your own, or remove or obscure any notices contained within it.
You do not need an account, and there is nothing to pay. You are free to use the Service for personal, educational and commercial network planning.
4. Accuracy and "as is" nature
We work hard to make the calculations correct, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. You are responsible for verifying results before relying on them in a production network. Subnetting mistakes can cause outages - always double-check critical configurations.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including but not limited to network downtime, misconfiguration, data loss, or lost profits, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, text and underlying code, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to reproduce or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted or as allowed by any accompanying open-source license.
7. Third-party links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party.
8. Changes to the Service and terms
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
